Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how blinknride ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares your personal data when you visit or buy from blinknride.com (the "Store").

2. What data we collect

  • Order data: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number (optional), ordered products, payment status. Payment card details are processed by our payment providers, not stored by us.
  • Customer service: the content of messages you send us.
  • Newsletter: your email address if you sign up.
  • Usage and device data: IP address, browser, device, pages viewed and similar information collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. Why we use your data and legal bases

  • To process and deliver your order and handle returns (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, performance of a contract).
  • To meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting retention (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • To run, secure and improve the Store and prevent fraud (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interests).
  • To send newsletters and use non-essential cookies, only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

4. Service providers we share data with

  • Shopify (Shopify International Ltd., Ireland, and Shopify Inc., Canada) hosts our Store and processes order data.
  • Payment providers: Shopify Payments and PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg) process your payment.
  • Shipping partners and our fulfillment supplier receive your name, address and order details to deliver your order.
  • Apps used in the Store: Rapid Bundle (bundle offers), Loox (product reviews, if you choose to leave a review) and Avada (order limits). These apps process data only as needed to provide their function.

Some providers are located outside the EU/EEA (for example in Canada or the USA). Transfers are based on adequacy decisions or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the Store to work (for example the shopping cart and checkout). With your consent, we may also use cookies for statistics and marketing. You can manage your choices in the cookie banner and in your browser settings.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep order data for as long as needed to fulfill the contract and as required by law (generally up to 10 years for tax and accounting records in Germany). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, email us at sami.azul@web.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The current version is always available in the Store.
